This is honestly viable for the best documentary I’ve ever seen. A pure celebration of womanhood that sheds light on the challenges, triumphs and encounters that shape the female experience. In every single woman, I found myself pointing out elements about them that I found beautiful, rejoicing with them, and sharing in their pain. It showcases women from all walks of life, highlighting the commonalities between them whilst beautifully celebrating their differences. The blank canvas approach gives the audience the opportunity to connect and immerse themselves in the stories shared, whilst allowing the subjects to use their voice in an unbroken and unique way.
This film made me realise that I am okay being a nonbinary person within a female body, which was an incredibly profound and reflective moment for me.
