Stepfather 3

Nothing like having a murderous stepfather to cure your son's disabled legs.

I feel the main character having plastic surgery just created issues with this one, because the only reason for it is to explain to the audience why he looks different apart he literally keeps all the same M.O.'s he still whistles the same tune (which is kinda silly since that was the main give away in the previous film), he still goes after a single mother with a kid. He even disposes of a body in the same way he did in the first film.
They should have just left the whole surgery bit out, it's not like it's the first or last time a character changed actors.

Also I thought it was kind of odd that when he started seeing the other single mother why he didn't decide to go with her instead, because the first mother was getting suspicious of him being with another woman anyway and her kid was suspicious of him being the killer that escaped. He knew all this and opts to try make a family work with them? Seemed an odd choice to me 😅

Apart from the surgery and his choice in which family to go for the film was okay.

Was it cheesy? Certainly. Is it a cinematic masterpiece? Absolutely not. But did I somehow enjoy the hell out of it? Yes.
