Lower brow than I was expecting. Way too long. Must be faithful to the source material otherwise I can’t explain the fat that needs trimming and some of the hammy, hacky bullshit. Really thin characters. Some stylistic affectations that have not aged well. Oh, and the soundtrack sucks. But there’s some fun along the way and I generally enjoyed the ride. Effectively creepy at points, too.
