Fleabag is a British comedy-drama adapted by Phoebe Waller-Bridge from her one-woman stage show.
The best thing about Fleabag is how she addresses the camera directly and it seems like the spectator is the only ones who actually can listen to her in these moments(but that isn’t the case as it’s seen later in the serie).
I really liked this 4th wall breaking, those moments create intimacy between Fleabag and the viewers, so when the priest notices thatit was very cool to see.
What’s really interesting tom e about this is that she isn’t really confessing but just being “performative about it” she tells us things but what she actually wants the viewer to see a certain version of herself.
Another thing i really like is her job, the fact taht she works at the guinea pig cafè which was not her idea but she does everything she can to keep it alive.
Overall the show is really damn good it kept me hooked from the very first episode and it’s a must see in my opinion.
