The movie isn’t that great overall, but there are still some good ideas in it. It’s original, and a few scenes are really well done.

I feel like this movie was neither fish nor fowl. I really appreciated some aspects such as the "hand- scene". Over all, the movie was very inconsistent. I feel like you need way too many unfortunate coincidences to make this plot work and after all, what was this about anyways? I want to see the meta worth of this piece but the movie didn't really go through with a lot of it's points. It couldn't decide between uncomfortable shock value and metaphors through the scenes so it ends up being the same thing over and over trying to get somewhere. This is if Misery was about hoodoo and also kinda sucked.
