Brave is such a criminally underrated film from Disney; I remember being blown away by it when I saw it in theatres. Before Elsa, we had Merida, whose story doesn't revolve around a love interest but her self-identity and independence, as well as her relationship with her mother, of course. The story is full to the brim with heart, soul, and the magic of the Scottish Highlands, not to mention brilliantly-written characters (and an equally brilliant voice cast) and great humour. I love absolutely everything about this film, and I'll continue to treasure it forever.
