This was kind of a small yet integral movie from my childhood, it wasn’t one of them that defined my childhood but I did watch it and the original quite a few times when I was a young lad. Watching it as an adult did bring back some nostalgic memories for sure but it’s not really an all time great anymore for me. The ending is where it really gets me a little irked, the ending is mid at best. It’s kind of a bittersweet ending but they could’ve done it so many other ways which I wish they did. I also wish we were able to see more of the games play out, those were the best scenes. The big positive is that it’s still pretty funny and has a good story overall. I like the new characters introduced as well while also showing the background of a certain character’s rivalry. It’s a solid movie overall, a bit of a nostalgia trip for me, will rewatch.
