The gif was my honest reaction after watching this movie. You do not understand how this is on my top ten anime betrayals….

So why it had such a cringe explaination on how both of them managed to "forget" their past;
Why Agent Smith is part of Morpheus;
Why Smith is nothing like Agent Smith;
Why there's two Morpheuses;
Why did they used almost the same cast;
Why the fight scenes were so repetative and boring;
Why didn't they simply wiped Neo's and Trinity's memories of their past while keeping their feeling clinging to one another;

Lacking the style, the rhythm, the finality, and the crisp action of the trilogy, yet conceptually very strong, perhaps even stronger than the original three.

The Wachowskis rarely miss and this really worked for me. I can't imagine how a sequel/reboot to such an iconic series could have been made any better than this.
