this is so dry and deadpan it almost loops back around to being genius. i love how minimal everything is, the stiff character animation, the awkward pauses, the barely-there dialogue and then when the music hits, that’s when the tables turn. it turns from slacker comedy into something weirdly transcendent. offbeat and way cooler than it looks at first glance.
