A very normal movie.
Anyway. Not entirely sure what to make of this. Definitely a black comedy that feels on some level a bizarre satire, while still being a slow burn and oddly soft spoken. There's a level of that apocalyptic tone that Weir employs in his next few projects, though here I'm not exactly sure if that's necessarily the point. What I can gather is that 70s Australia was a very interesting time.
