It really has that early 2010s action movie vibe, with that very recognizable filter and style. The chases, the shootouts, the overall pacing… it all fits perfectly into that era, and honestly, I kind of love that aesthetic.
Zoe Saldaña is great here. I’m so used to seeing her in different types of roles, but in this kind of action driven performance she really shines. You can tell she put in the work for the physical side of the role, and she totally sells it. And let’s be honest, watching her go full action mode, taking people out and handling herself like that, is just really fun to watch.
From a technical standpoint, it’s solid for an action movie. Nothing groundbreaking, but it works. The cinematography does its job, the music has a few good tracks, and everything flows well enough to keep you engaged.
