Made me think more about the obsession with the supposed link between youth and beauty.

My fyp has been full of the Aged Filter for days now. The aged woman I see in my screen does not look like anyone in my family and she seems unfamiliar (not in the way I have not ever met her, but in the way that I don’t think that’s how I’ll look like). The women in my family have this shine in their eyes and wisdom in their voice that only comes with living through every wrinkle and scar on their faces. It’s a struggle if all you have going for you is beauty (but is it that bad?).
