Snow on tha Bluff

Actually pretty impressive for a found footage flick. It blurs the line between reality and fiction so well that it feels genuinely grimey and uncomfortable at times. The handheld camerawork usually bugs me, but here it adds to the raw, voyeuristic energy of the Atlanta streets.

​It’s a gritty, hyper-realistic ride that doesn't feel like it's trying too hard to be "cinematic," which is exactly why it works. Definitely one of the better entries in the genre.

for how played out the found footage genre is, but his feels so right. the way they execute this feels so real, especially with seeing familiar streets and locations. the way they throw the drama and the stress and sadness of his life and structuring it in the most optimal way to make you feel an remember all aspects of his life. although the acting is rough sometimes, it makes it feel all the more real, like people getting recorded for a instagram story (this whole film almost feels like a huge highlight). the way it fuses documentary and fiction is done so well i haven’t seen much like it (i really need to watch Close-Up). weird find but def a keeper.
