A quiet, dreamlike meditation on memory and mortality. The Hawaiian setting feels alive, and Steve Iwamoto delivers a tender, moving performance. Funny how picking movies at random, they often link up—its exploration of memory even reminded me of Hiroshima mon amour. A serene and haunting experience.

very emotionally hollowing but doesn't offer much besides that. if you care about hawaii it’s very pretty but if (like me) you really don’t the focus on the scenery just kind of goes out of the window

I really enjoyed this. I think it’s a lot more meditative than people will be into, but I feel like it works. The camerawork highlights the Hawaii scenery beautifully.
