I was trying to actually enjoy this film, but it’s so empty and hollow for me that I just absolutely couldn’t. Yes, the ennui is an intentional decision, but just because you’re making a commentary or examining boredom doesn’t mean your film has to be boring as well. The positives I will give this film are its cinematography and use of interesting and unique cinematic techniques, still, shallow stylized images alone cannot connect me to a film. Hopefully my next Carax film is a better experience
