it’s good, got some good character study stuff in here and some interesting psychosexual undertones, but it didn’t wow me. Keitel wants to be a dominant sex machine but he can’t get hard so he takes it out on the people he collects debts from, but he also loves to play piano so it’s like a yin and yang of violence and beauty that also is reflected when he has sex as it is something that should be a beautiful act that becomes forceful and verging on violent. mostly had fun seeing young Tony Sirico (Paulie Walnuts), Dominic Chianese (Uncle June), Lenny Montana (Luca Brazzi) and an all timer small role by Jim Brown who plays the object of Keitel’s sexual jealousy because he not only cucks keitel but he’s also 6’2 and jacked and just fucks like crazy.
