Man this was dogshit, who knew an action movie could be so fucking boring. Not just boring but I was so disinterested in this that I wanted to pull the plug on it multiple times but didn’t. The characters are so flat, annoying, boring, cliche and shitty. It felt like no one was acting, everyone was just there for the paycheck, it was like watching a middle school play. They felt like they were written by an angry teenage girl who just broke up with her first boyfriend. The actual action sequences which there’s about maybe 5 minutes of is so boring and dumb, like I watched an ambulance drive through a building and the bad guy jumped into it. If he had ducked, he would’ve been fine but no, he fucking jumped into it like he was trying to catch it. There’s literally nothing good about this movie, I hope it burns in hell. No, I’m not rewatching.

i don’t necessarily like saying a film is bad because i know how much effort it takes. but this film is objectively bad, they could’ve done so much better with both the writing and the acting. this is a film that honestly shouldn’t have been made, but it’s Sony so what can you do 🗿.

I don't really know where to start with this review. The only thing that I mildly liked about the film was the way that they show the whole time travel thing, which whilst it doesn't make any sense, it's nice to look at and it has a nice eerie feel to it. But apart from that slight detail the film was shockingly bad in pretty much every way it can be. It's a shame that it ended up being so poor given the casting with big actors and actresses but it just massively fell flat and was very disappointing.

For an action movie, it severely lacked much action..

I'm not normally a fan of superhero films anyway but this one just completely ruined superheroes for me. Realistically Cassie is not a superhero, she's just some random woman who is slightly hinted at being a superhero..

The only time we ever actually see any superhero action, any costumes or anything remotely interesting is in the flash forwards. Like for a superhero film this severely lacked any superhero features at all.

Also if Sydney Sweeney is the best actor in a film I think we need to start worrying.. I wasn't like keen on any actors in this film to be honest. Ezekiel felt really lazy and he just felt like a goofy little villain. He just didn't feel like any threat whatsoever.

I feel like this film really lacked in a coherent storyline and I felt like I was missing so much. Like halfway through the film I did not know what was happening at all and I feel like some backstory was severely needed in this film.

Like I love Julia, Mattie and Anya but like I feel like we moved past their backstories so quickly. Like it was kind of just mentioned and then we just moved on. I would have really liked to see more into their backstory rather than just completely moving on.

To be honest this whole movie felt a bit rushed and every single plot point just felt like they completely moved on from it just so they could fit more in. I think the only action actually happened in it was in the last 20 minutes or so which was just like oh..
