I've been sitting here for a bit, trying to find what to say. This movie was very different from what I was expecting (in a good way) and I wasn't sure what to write about it.

Sometimes though, it's not that deep.

Fast, yet not rushed; with cool fight scenes. But I do believe that it would benefit a lot from more time, using it to better show the characters and world. Anyway, it's still a really nice piece of tokusatsu

Aesthetic of the movie was 10/10 and the climax was pretty awesome. Also, the romance was surprisingly impactful even though it was developed in like 2 minutes

Such a good movie. The first and third act are absolutely amazing. But the second act struggles with boring unimportant characters. The cheesy effects are so flipping charming. The scene where Michael stabs his hand through that stormtrooper guy's face might be one of my favorite kills in cinematic history.
