“your loneliness intrigued me.”
This film was even more beautiful than i anticipated.I thought it was going to be about space, but it was about love and security, slipping away before our very eyes.
“Were you just here listening to that all night?”
“I find the vibrations soothing. At first, I entered your thoughts with you. But I felt uncomfortable. Your kind carries a great deal of guilt.”
“Yours doesn’t?”
“No. Why should we? The universe is as it should be.”
To have to go so far and be so alone, to realize your mistakes and miss what you had.The realization was devastating to watch.
We also experience Lenkas (Carey Mulligan) issues back on earth, with preparing for the birth of their daughter, alone, and also realizing that she’s not as in love with Jakub (Adam Sandler), as she once was.
Seeing how the loneliness and the discovery of Hanuš (Paul Dano), forces Jakub to rethink and reevaluate his decisions, was beautifully done, and getting to see Jakubs memories and thoughts as visuals, made me feel more connected to the story.
Never did i think that a giant space spider could work better than a therapist.
The cinematography was absolutely stunning, the colors and the light worked so well together and made a beautiful film.Space also looked gorgeous and as mysterious as always.
“Would you? Would you kiss me again?”
