Wow very interesting, I love that DC made these shorts for lesser known characters, and all of them have been suprisingly good. I've never heard of the character death, but this sure sparked my interest.
This reminds me very much of the crow franchise. I wonder if it's been a source inspiration for this story/character. I would love a full live-action movie about this. Hopefully in the future in James Gunn's DCU.
