Way too sappy for me. Felt very Hallmark. Also, has to be one of the ugliest movie posters I have ever seen. Embarrassingly, the ending got me.

Kristin Davies is an international treasure. Truly a beautiful woman, inside and out. That’s why I even clicked on this damn movie, she should’ve had a bigger film career imo.

Movie wise: I had never thought about the fact that all around the world, someone did die on the day I was born. In fact, Beth and Andy (almost) died on December 24th 2001, I was just a couple of hours old. This movie is as old as I am which is equally bizarre and funny.

The premise is quite interesting tbh. It’s just very, very poorly executed. Kristin brings life to a woman who married the biggest asshole with daddy issues. The guy lead was really bad so he made this pairing so unconvincing, I wanted him to die at the end (he did for like 2 minutes so the movie earns brownie points). Tim Meadows was fine.

Music, set and costume design was ok. Honestly, I would’ve preferred a movie of Kristin Davies falling in love with someone who truly appreciated her but that’s just me.

It was a very Hallmark-esque experience. I won’t see it again but it was a nice mindless breather.
