Remember kiddies, drugs are bad. In all seriousness, it’s definitely a good story with a phenomenal ending but botched pretty horribly in the editing department. I know the editing is supposed to make it feel as we are going through what they were feeling and they did that because I felt ill after all the random edit jumps and cuts and comic style edits. It’s definitely more atrocious in the beginning before the chaos really broke out and that where the problem lies for me, if you wanted to make the movie trippy, you should’ve saved the crazy editing style for the finale when the chaos really breaks out. It just felt like I was getting vertigo for the majority of the movie. Definitely the moms story was the best part to watch because originally her drug was sugar then it changed and she went off the rails even though she meant good in the end. The other threes stories were a direct consequence of their actions. In all the story was really well done alongside the amazing score but it was ultimately ruined by the editing style for me. It’s a 50/50 if I watch it again.
