❝Travel isn’t always pretty. You go away, you learn, you get scarred, marked and changed in the process; it even breaks your heart.❞

Anthony Bourdain was truly one-of-a-kind. He's an inspiration to me and many other people, and the world is worse off without him in it. And while I love learning about him and his life, Roadrunner is, at best, misplaced, and at worst, absolutely disgusting. Instead of looking at his childhood and love of food, his struggles with drug addiction and his writing, the documentary instead focuses on trying to solve his death. It really does feel like his life before TV was glossed over just so the documentary could end with his suicide, which is just despicable. And to top that all off, using AI to simulate his voice reading emails written from his heart. I just don't have words to describe how sickening and vile this whole film is. Shame on you, Morgan Neville.
