“I wish this whole thing would backfire in her stupid face.”
This is why you don’t mess around with wishbones. Who invites a random stranger inside their home to stay a couple of nights? This whole family sucks. Midsommar but it’s an American Pilgrim cult instead. The camera was moving too much for my liking—just stay still sometimes. The concept was good but the execution wasn’t.

Pretty good for a Hulu movie. The direction really succeeds in making up for how small the scale is in a way some might find annoying but it’s so much better than just pretending the Hulu style guide is good enough without putting some relish on it.
Usual issue of pulling every punch and there’s essentially 3 cast members that can act.
