sorry if you don’t get it but this is a MASTERPIECE. it looks fuckin great, score is incredible, performances are 10s across the board, it’s quite prescient, and perhaps more relevant than ever. who cares if it’s like 15 minutes too long??? i certainly don’t!!!!!

biggest laugh in the theater was adrian grenier getting a holographic lap dance and i applaud my fellow moviegoers.

i love when filmmakers aren’t afraid to get weird w it, which is ironic because the “weird” elements of this futuristic world are probably the weakest part of the film for me. the story is where all the heart can be found, and there’s a LOT of it.

haley joel osment, man. i usually don’t feel as invested with child protagonists, but he manages to carry this entire film on his back (and with ease).
