This film really worked for me in an emotional level. Watching the main character constantly try and fail to put herself out there and try to take charge of her life is relatable but also relatively painful to sit through. I can't help but feel bad for her even as every new action she takes worsens the problem. The ending is really powerful stuff.
This movie really does look/feel like a thesis film but it is still one hell of an accomplishment.
Also, the actress really does look like Hannah Einbender.

SO DID THE CAR CRASH OR WHAT?????when I was in year 9 I had a teacher (miss slade) and she was meek and mild and kind but the kids were ruthless. even the other teachers were ruthless. everyone was very cold. she transferred to a primary school. i think she is much happier.
