Entertaining, sure, if you can watch vintage civics propaganda with a straight face. Oh boy, it sure is grand watching stereotypes get beaten up by kindly cops, crusading journalists, and tiki-torch-wielding lynch mobs!

I’m surprised but also deeply saddened at how relevant this movie is despite being 75 years old. Sensationalistic journalism and its attention-seeking headlines only further the biases of readers without any care whatsoever for the truth.
It’s become undeniable that F*x News has done irreparable damage to this country, but that might’ve only been the final nail in the coffin crafted by the undertaker that is small town newspapers of old.
