This movie literally wasted all its potential, the colors are amazing, the actors are really good, it’s a movie about a worthy singer but the main actor? I mean nooo, you can’t interpret a twenty years old boy if you’re forty-five, you just can’t. It’s really a waste because it could have been a beautiful movie.

Not a perfect movie by any means, but Spacey fits the role of Darin so well. So eerily similar in both look and performance. Would love a better attempt at telling Darin's story, but that seems unlikely to happen. I'll settle for this.
