fingers tapping on the window!! pining away!!
honestly the best film i've seen in quite a while.. so i could be dramatic by giving this 5 stars but it's just how i feel right now. so many beautiful shots + rita tushingham is just fantastic. the greenhouse scene with the rain pouring down.. shut uppp
captures early 20s innocence and intense emotions in a way that is so painfully accurate

I wrote something about your round face. "Your face may be round but your heart is quite pure..."

This is basically 1960s Conversations with Friends but Joe Alwyn, you are no Peter Finch. Eamon Morrissey cameo! Pepper Canister Church!
The relationship drama is just a bit generic but two of the very best actors and lots of Dublin is obviously going to deliver.
