Featuring a very talented ensemble cast, No Sudden Move uses tight camerawork to enhance the engaging, if complex, plot. The opening scenes certainly grab one's attention, but unfortunately the film loses steam around the halfway mark, and is very much carried by the excellent performances of Don Cheadle and Benicio del Toro working together as a great comedic, criminal duo. I do think a lot of the actors in the cast were wasted; Kieran Culkin, for instance, provided some really good humour in his scenes at the beginning, and it was a shame that he had so little screen-time. The pacing of the film was not the best, and it made the two hour run-time feel much longer, but with that being said, this was an interesting film overall, and I would recommend giving it a watch.
