What NBC and Jay Leno did to Conan is absolutely deplorable. And they always say you’ll reap what you sow. (Unless I somehow find myself in the unlikely situation where NBC are my employer, in which case, you are god).
Conan is a generational talent. Fantastic writer, brilliant talk show host, surprisingly talented musician but most of all he’s fucking funny. At all aspects of his craft, he is unquestionably, deeply, down to the core funny.
And this is a really decent documentary about a man who had stardom pulled away from him from under his feet, relearning to love his craft in a different context. It’s super interesting - if you love Conan.
