This movie is… so low stakes? Idk if I’ve ever seen a political drama that just hinges on someone being railroaded bc of bad faith actors with no satisfying resolution. Clint Eastwood wouldn’t accept the way this wraps up. Oldman and Elliott are fun but it lost me fairly quickly. Actually has a lot in common with Conclave in terms of how little momentum there is.

While thematically it's very heavy handed (especially towards the end, the acting, editing, and cinematography are all greatly executed to truly make this a great film.
