admittedly, i felt the structure of the movie to be a bit odd, as it went back and forth from present to past to even further past and all that. despite that, it was still a wonderful story that highlights the struggles of homophobia and racism. i feel like id have to rewatch it to fully wrap my head around it, but it’s pretty good as it is!! as a gay latino it’s certainly a story i can resonate with.
