The Camp Jened portion was my favorite, but transitioning to the monumental breakthrough by the movement makes for a powerful tale without relying on inspiration porn to do it.
Camp Jened functions as a microcosm of broader debates about inclusion. While a traditional camp format represents simple inclusion into an existing system, Camp Jened represents a system redesigned around disabled people, rather than forcing them to adapt to it.
Fuck Ronald Reagan, fuck Jimmy Carter, Fuck Richard Nixon, I don’t even care how hard @NixonFoundation edits are on Instagram.
