Came for Luc Ferrari but ended up loving the whole thing
We can theorize about eternity as much as we please, is everything done? Nothing? What’s the difference? The more important question is how eternity is experienced… how does it feel to watch social production halt to stasis (very relevant in consumer society lol)? This work asserts that eternity is not boundless, it’s actually entirely bound, bound and experimental and full of unharnessed energy
At the boundary of time lies the production of time, at the boundary of knowledge lies the production of knowledge, at the boundary of labor lies the production of labor etc… what are your temporal, social, and emotional boundaries? What is the contradiction that maintains those limits? How can you break through?

The film literally puts you in a trance. Feels like floating through a forgotten civilisation in the middle of a ritual, where every movement has weight to it even if the meaning is just out of reach. The animation is fucking unreal, the sculpted ‘men???’, the floating shapes, the cosmic stillness, it all feels like one weird alien prayer or something. Straight up pure atmosphere, very very cool, rewarding patience with images that will stay in your head for a long time.
