This movie is interesting, a brand new ficitonal world brought to us with a great animation style and creative world-building. As for the plot, there was some really good moments here and there but the bulk of the movie really dragged on. Although the main dynamic between the Garbage man and the boy was sort of derivative, the characters stole the show and I always liked when they were on screen together, especially Poupelle. And that ending didn’t really hit me because I was constantly asking questions throughout.
