was really pleasantly surprised by this relatively unknown brazilian film. cinematography is just drop dead gorgeous mostly reminding me of jaques tati and wes anderson films the way that it portrays sao paulo itself as a character in the film, not just a setting. also really like the screenplay which kinda gave shades of “Lost in Translation” of someone just wandering in foreign grounds. i was kind of iffy on the ending, not because it was bad, but because it was just a tad bit too messy. but other than that i would highly recommend this film.
