A wonderfully colourful and stylishly fun piece of satire, taking the obsession with media and commercialism to the extreme. The plot of this film is that there are people who hunt and people who are hunted, these hunts are live on television so the masses of rich elites can enjoy some lovely murders. The retro-futurism of the 60s really shines in this film, with many wacky outfits and ideas. I loved the absurd element of this film, it really helped sell the craziness of consumerism. This was just a really fun film, very nicely done.

I gasped every time they mentioned how Americans have zero gun restrictions for The Big Hunt because it’s so eerily similar to the last 25 years of mass shootings. They say you can shoot in any place in America and you don’t have to hide your weapon either, unlike Italy. Insane.

Extremely fabulous costuming and gorgeous cinematography to boot. I laughed so much more than I expected. One of my new favorites for sure.
