I gasped every time they mentioned how Americans have zero gun restrictions for The Big Hunt because it’s so eerily similar to the last 25 years of mass shootings. They say you can shoot in any place in America and you don’t have to hide your weapon either, unlike Italy. Insane.

Extremely fabulous costuming and gorgeous cinematography to boot. I laughed so much more than I expected. One of my new favorites for sure.

It's very odd to see an Italian movie with such a premise. A society where killing is legalized and triumphed through a hunting system. A semi-dystopian society, where crime is supposed to be zero, yet we see a world full of conflicts and deaths like it's normal. The legalization of such a brutal manner made it look like something normal. A spectacularization of brutality. This movie is a critic to our society written in an ironic way, underlying how easy we are to manipulate, and how the perception of law as the right above everything is just a wrong human concept
