I really enjoyed this film. It’s pace was a bit slow (the scenery shots and the cuts to black could have easily been shortened), but I felt connected to the main character and wanted to see what conclusion he and the film would come to by the end. The film’s story-line is simple, a Mexican teen smashes his car into a pole and runs around town trying to get it fixed, eliciting the help of other characters, meanwhile revealing the protagonists much bigger problem: the recent death of his father and how he is going to deal with that.
