One of the most surreal experiences of viewership. Documentaries are such important pieces of cinema because they are far more emotionally devastating and naturally more honest than fiction ever could be. This does a beautiful job of supporting its cause whilst also awarding the subjects with such honour and compassion. It should feel exploitative, but for the most part, there is so much care woven into this that it absolutely doesn’t. Death is so human, and this film really highlights that.

jesus christ man. we had to turn the movie off multiple times because it was just too much at times. this documentary really makes you think about a lot of things that you either try not to think about or just never really do. don’t really know what else to say other than that we cried the entire time and the movies been done for 10 minutes and cael is still crying. hold the people you love close to you!
