Ok, I tried watching this four months ago but never finished it, even tho i was over an hour and fifteen minutes in, so idk why I was such a dumbass and didn't finish it since this is a genuinely great film. I really liked the cast and thought that the child actors did a great job, with nuance, naturalism, and emotional depth. I thought it created a unique type of dread, a type I've never seen in a film before. I feel like this could have easily been generic, but they execute this great concept super uniquely. I also like how this film is paced, and I feel like most people won't, but I thought the pacing really allowed the film to breathe. I feel like the ending could have been more climactic and exciting, but I feel like the ending was still done with a bold sense of purpose, so I'm not that upset. I thought it was well directed, well written, and just a really good film. Overall, I am happy I gave this film another shot, since its definely a really good movie.
