The mystery itself is pretty mid…
BUT craig is great as blanc & this movie was critiquing musk before it was popular. It was very vindicating for people (me) at the time and rings even truer today.

7.8/10 these movies are incredibly fun. But It does everything the first movie does just worse. Daniel Craig is phenomenal once again as Benoit Blanc and Janelle Monàe absolutely steals the show here. The Blanc and Brand dynamic was absolutely what made this movie this good. Monàe and Craig’s chemistry on screen was amazing to watch. This cast is definitely loaded but not as loaded as the first one. And this movie lacked an aesthetic of darkness that the first one had which was missed. But I do get these are all standalone stories and are going to have different vibes. And now to explain my inconveniences. The first hour just didn’t really do it for me. I wasn’t interested that much and I was sort of bored. I honestly liked how they got to the murder right away in the first one. And I just wished Glass Onion did that as well rather than us waiting an hour for it to happen. The reveal also just wasn’t it for me. I absolutely loved the first reveal in Knives Out but Glass Onion’s was just alright to me. But when this movie gets going it’s amazing and the cast really shines here. The ending with the whole Mona Lisa bit was pretty funny may I add. I was a little disappointed with this because Knives Out was a 10/10 masterpiece and this just wasn’t as goof but Glass Onion does have some great redeeming qualities but it just doesn’t touch Knives Out at all.
