Ellie and Abbie (and Ellie's Dead Aunt)

a little embarrassing at times, which makes sense considering it's mostly about teenagers. i like the queer representation, very cute and realistic; it was easy to see my younger self in aspects of both ellie and abbie. i'd love if this movie reached younger queer people, those who are still in the process of discovering themselves.

the fact that it's such a personal story for the director just made me like it so much more. if there's something that will always get to me, it's definitely seeing that a movie i just watched is dedicated to someone.

i can't wait to be my nieces and nephews' lasagna some day.

Was it cringey at times - yeah 100% but lesbians deserve cute cringey romances too

It was heartwarming and deeply relatable, as well as undeniably accurate to the Australian school scene
