Complicated feelings on how sex work is portrayed in this documentary aside, middle aged men from Sussex have such a way of being, Graham reminds me of every male coworker I've ever had and all my parents male friends.
Anyway I don't think this documentary presented sex work with the complexity it deserves. I definitely think it's important to talk about how some people in sex work come from a history of abuse and bad relationships with their bodies and sex and also just manipulation but there is another side to it that this doc didn't acknowledge.

for a documentary i feel it doesn't really show you much about it. it's definitely more of just louis judging these women which makes me sad.
personally i dont think sex work can ever be ethically done, not from what ive seen so far, but we should be judging the men who pay these women
it's so fucking sad hearing women talking about this

From my perspective, this documentary doesn’t really balance both sides of the arguments very well. Feels like Louis Theroux came into it with a negative perspective and didn’t do much to try and change that

I get the criticisms to this sometimes taking a lighter/ funny tone but arguably most of his docs have some moments that are similar, I really felt for the mum in this doc tho
