Slight upgrade from the first. Would love to know how in the hell Art the Clown is able to withstand multiple stabs, cuts and all sorts of pain without managing to produce a single fucking sound.

i’m still waiting for something interesting to happen in one of these movies.. you’d think a movie with an 138 MINUTE runtime would have to have some depth but idk

Once Upon a Time in a Fucked Up Halloween Season (#10)> My sister saw Terrifier 3 yesterday so I felt obligated to watch this last one after despising the first. My mom also hadn't seen the second film but hated the first so we both bit the bullet. It was so fucking long it's not even funny.Terrifier 2 is better than the first as it solves many of the issues I had such as its cinematography, characters who weren't entirely blank slates, and more of a story. The gore in Terrifier 2 is so fucking good and when certain events happened, I was on board with it. Still, similarly to the first film, this film doesn't have enough interesting elements in between those scenes so I'm left with flatness and some truly horrendous sound mixing. It expanded decently to the film with its somewhat likable characters such as our lead, but much of them were just nothing. Leone also might have watched some foreign horror films because for some reason he brought in some symbolic shit that felt so out of place and felt forced. Speaking of out of place, LEONE, CUT SHIT DOWN, YOUR MOVIE DOESN'T HAVE TO BE SO FUCKING LONG FOR A SLASHER.

Bringing back the old-school slasher feel with the sub-par acting and excessive gore, and I love that but way too long. It could've had the same effect and rank of entertainment with a much shorter runtime. However, all in all, an entertainingly uncomfortable gorefest and Jonathan is so real for all those metal posters.
