Happy birthday to the living national treasure Sir David Attenborough! His soothing voice has been a big part of the backdrop of my life since I was little, and I'm so, so happy that he made it to 100!
It's devastating to see how much our world has changed, even in my lifetime so far, so I can't even imagine how painful it must be for Sir David. And he's completely right; if we (not just common people like you and me, but the governments and billionaires especially who spend millions on pointless things) don't do something soon, humans are, without a doubt, going to die.

this feels like a final plea from mr attenborough and it's honestly devastating that us humans have destroyed what was such a beautiful planet. i think the entire human race should be wiped out and we should just let nature take over again
bit disappointing that attenborough leans on overpopulation as the main issue without really getting into capitalism or how much the ultra-rich are to blame. feels like it kind of dodges the fact this is as much a political problem as anything else :/
