This movie is genuinely so beautiful.
Kristine gives a phenomenal performance, like many of her other films.
Although I would normally never take a liking to this type of genre of film, there was something about this movie that really shook me.
The soundtrack was beautiful.
The connection to Ollie felt somewhat weak throughout the earlier parts of the film, but the scene of Marine crying over him, and then almost jumping, had me so moved. I really sighed a breath of pure sadness when I thought she had jumped, but thank god she didn’t.
The scene where Kate exposes Marine had me so mad. Why does Kristine never get her happily ever after in the world of cinema.
Also the scene of them high on acid (I think?) and dancing, beautiful.
Although the ending wasn’t exactly what I wanted, I thought that it was still beautiful.
It may not have strong re-watch potential, but my god, was this a gorgeous movie.
