I'm not a fan of Bollywood but this movie hits me. It felt more like a documentary tbh ;). Sad that this is someone's life as well, but they can't do anything about it, or maybe too scared. The song that was playing in my head when i watch this was "Labour" i really wish women who are going throw this could find true happiness.
Some people say it's just a slap, but it meant disrespect. No like, seriously why the man didn't slap who made him angry? There's no valid reason why he is allowed to do that. And it shouldn't be normalized. The anger i feel in this film is diabolical, i feel it
Not to mention some people always says it's fine when it's really not. Society has normalized something that it shouldn't in the first place. Speak up ladies, your voice matters too ;)
Sometimes it's not "protect your daughter" sometimes it's also "EDUCATE YOUR SON."
Men – Teach your sons through your own respectful behavior the value of having a selfless wife and mother in your life.
