The movie tackles a grim subject matter yet it’s a really funny film. Inoffensive, entertaining, and a breeze. You can’t say the same for the other all-star comedy that came out on the same year. I’m sorry you caught a stray, Don’t Look Up.
Christian Bables gives another career-best performance (his first being Die Beautiful) and Eugene Domingo is just a wicked joy to watch. I really liked this film, even though the ending (particularly the bit with John Arcilla) could have been improved on. It squanders some of the momentum that the first hour was building up.
