Gonna watch through this whole series just because it seems like the thing to do. Also, Moon Lee is in this movie. I think I'd watch just about any movie to see Moon Lee acting. In the right conditions, I might even take a man's life to see Moon Lee act. She doesn't do a lot here, to be honest, but it's still a delight.
They do some incredible things with the rules surrounding hopping vampires in this movie. Everything is, of course, played for laughs except when it's time for an action scene, and although my preference is definitively for somewhat more melodrama-laden material (like the Chinese Ghost Story films), this movie is admittedly really effective and funny.
In the finale everything gets completely fucking wrecked, and it kind of rules. Shout out to the absolutely insane fire stunt in this film.
