80s hong kong zombies/ vampires action slashers thrive on the very mechanism of calculating comedic timing- in today's standard it's predictable; if you think it's happening it is happening, but truly this a statement of hong kong horror cinema and my parents' childhood. fun watch with them! (somewhere between 3.5 and 4 but for my love of hong kong cinema it deserves the 0.5!) 🫶
